QUICK HITS

Jaden Sandoval | C | Melissa | 2027 | R/R | 5’11’ 170

Sandoval is a solid all around player. Behind the dish, he showed pop times between 1.94-2.08. His feet worked well and had a quick release. There is plenty of arm strength and more in the tank. At the plate, he has quick hands and bat speed was present. Shows G2G pop. He reminds us of a young Ian Kinsler.

Ryder Garcia | SS | Hays | 2027 | L/R | 5’8” 171

Garcia showed well on both sides of the ball. At the plate, he has a balanced swing with G2G pop. Showed the ability to stay inside the baseball and go line to line. Had 2 hits in the game including a line drive to left center field. His actions in the infield are solid. His feet work with decent angles and a quick release. A gamer.

Emiliano Maldonado | SS | Justin F. Kimball | 2027 | L/R | 5’6” 147

Maldonado has decent actions on the dirt. His feet moved well with good glove action. He showed good arm strength throwing 84 across the diamond. At the plate, his hands are quick and has some ability to turn the barrel out. There is bat to ball over power, but he has sneaky juice with the way he uses his hands.

Keaton Jeffcoat | SS | Willis | 2028 | R/R | 5’11” 158

Jeffcoat had another good showing this weekend. Good actions in the infield with solid arm speed. His foot work and angles looked good and he put the ball in the air quickly. He topped 85 across the diamond with some carry to his ball. On the hitting side, Jeffcoat has quick hands and a good bat path. He stays inside the ball well and has G2G pop. A good mover. Runs a 6.88 60 and translates on the field.

Tres Esquibel | SS | Atascocita | 2027 | L/R | 5’8” 160

Esquibel is an athletic moving, left-handed hitting, infielder. He has quick feet and solid actions on the dirt. There was plenty of arm strength and carry to his ball. Tres has some sneaky G2G pop with some pull side juice. Ended up with a line drive to left center field in the game and made a good defensive play on a slow roller on defense.

Beckett Steele | RHP | Magnolia West | 2026 | R/R | 6’1” 185

Steele showed well on the mound during Saturday’s game. Sat 85-86 with some ASR. The SL shows real upside sitting 72-75 with 2500-2600 spin rate. He threw several sharp breaking balls during game play and averaged -16.2 HM. Showed feel for his CH which sat 78-80 with some sink and command. A sinker/slider style arm with more velo in the future.

Layton Dossett | 3B | Samuel Clemons | 2027 | R/R | 5’10” 195

Dosset is a very strong and physical player for his age group. His feet work at 3B with solid glove action. Played well on the backhand side as well. Showed a quick hand and some arm strength throwing 86 across the diamond. He has more of an OT slot with a quick release. In the box, he showed strength to drive balls to both gaps and ability to be a middle of the order type of hitter. Drove a hard line drive to left field in game play.

Cullen Adams | 3B/RHP | Willis | 2028 | R/R | 6’0” 225

Adams showed well on both sides of the ball. He’s a physical player with strength and pop to both gaps. Ended up with 2 hits in game play; a single through the six hole and a line drive double to left field. On the mound, Adams throws from a ¾ slot with some arm strength. With late life, he sat 82-85. The SL had a tight spin with a small dot sitting 72-74. Had both sweep and some depth. Shows real promise as a 2 way player.

Kash Abke | RHP/1B | Willis | 2027 | R/R | 6’2” 175

Abke is a very athletic player with tools. He showed a 90mph arm, a 6.81 60 and 98 exit velo’s. At 1B, his feet are quick and he is very rangy. When he stays under control, he’s a solid defender over there. At the plate he shows bat speed and some pop. He has versatile tools that could possibly put him in different parts of the lineup. On the bump, he sat 86-90 with +15 HM. The SL sat 74-77 with good sweep (-25 HM). CH was 74 with some sink. When he stays under control and locked in, he has the makings of a high end player.

Porter Carroll | C | McKinney Christian | 2026 | L/R | 6’0” 178

Carroll is a quick twitch player that shows promise behind the plate and as a left handed hitter. He is a 6.9 runner and moves well on the bases. His feet work well behind the dish with a clean transition. Soft handed. At the plate he has very quick hands. The bat speed is there and he has the ability to drive balls with some pace. Showed discipline in the zone during game play with 2 walks and a line drive 2B to left center field.

Luke Lopez | RHP | Grand Oaks | 2028 | R/R | 5’11” 150
