Quick Hits
Silas Baker, 1B/LHP, Sonoraville, 2030
It was a really impressive showing for Baker across the event. Stands a physical 5-foot-9, 173-pounds with strength to project upon. At the plate, the LHH shows a simple, direct stroke with good feel for the barrel and ability to match plane in-zone. Fast hands stand out that turn the barrel over in an instant and shifts weight well through impact. Produced a Max EV of 85.0, Avg. EV 80.2, and a Max Distance of 309 ft.. On the mound, showed a 3-pitch arsenal and fastball lived in the mid 70s (T77 MPH).

Cullen Boney, INF, Tift County, 2030
The rising Tift County infielder found barrel after barrel in a solid round of BP. Compact strength throughout the 5-foot-5 frame and stout lower half. Well-balanced and shows good hands in-zone with budding feel for the barrel as he repeatedly sprayed the ball back up-the-middle of the field. Produced a Max EV of 80.7 and a sweet spot % at 77%. Also hopped on the mound and showed a 4-pitch mix with a fastball in the low 70s.

Cooper Hill, INF, Jefferson, 2030
Hill brings a controlled and efficient swing to the batter’s box, showing a natural feel for making solid contact. He keeps his hands quiet and stays short to the ball, which helps him square pitches up consistently and spray line drives across the field. His balance and posture are noticeable strengths, allowing him to adjust to different pitch speeds and locations. Even without fully developed strength yet, the ball comes off his bat well, and his frame suggests there is more power to come as he continues to mature physically.

Camden Jackson, 3B/RHP, Jefferson, 2030
A lot to like in our view of the young infielder, who shows an appealing offensive profile that will continue to develop over the coming summers. Produced a fun BP session, featuring calm hands that generate intriguing bat speed through the zone. Jackson generates a consistent, flat barrel through the zone that often gets out front creating loud results. Got some good work on the infield, as he moves well with good actions and solid range to both sides. He also turned in a quality bullpen session, running his fastball up to 73 mph with a low-spin changeup.

Bryan Johnson Jr., OF, North Atlanta, 2030
Walking into the event, Johnson made an immediate impact standing a physical 6-foot-3, 190-pounds and proceeded to look the part of a premier player in the 2030 class in workouts. The first person to set in the box for BP and Johnson would set the tone early with a loud, pull-side heavy round that showed budding raw power and advanced barrel feel for the age. Gets the front foot ground early with good strength from the ground up paired with level hands through the zone to match plane well. Generated a max EV of 98.0 with an average of 88.3. Bat speed and ability to rotate stand out already with so much more to tap into as he develops. This was an advanced look from the 14 year old and will be a major name to know for years to come.
