EMERSON, GA. - The 2025 Prep Baseball Future Games lived up to the hype. Over 400 college coaches packed the stands at LakePoint Sports, giving players exposure unlike any other event in the nation. This year, 7 players from the Dakotas participated in the Future Games and Senior Future Games, with a handful of eye opening performances in front of coaches and our staff.

FUTURE GAMES IMPACT ARMS

Caden Nelson RHP / Fargo South, ND / 2027

Caden Nelson pitched angry during his two outings at the future games. The Fargo native ran his fastball in the 89-91 range in both outings, topping out at 91.5 on the weekend. After somewhat struggling with command in his first outing, Nelson set out to make a statement. The righty went right after hitters with his fastball, spinning his hard slider that propelled him to throw up a scoreless inning. Nelson is a name college coaches will be familiar with going into tomorrow.

Kade Wede RHP / Harrisburg, SD / 2027

Kade Wede opened plenty of eyes during his time at LakePoint. The Sioux Falls native showed the ability to throw three pitches for strikes, while showing plus stuff. Wede ran his fastball up to 88.8 while throwing a slider with up to 15 inches of HB. Wede flashed an intruighing cutter that he landed in zone at the low 80s. With more physical maturity, Wede could become a force on the mound.

Everett Salonen RHP / Jefferson, SD / 2027

Everett Salonen was a bulldog at the Future Games. The 6-2, 200lb righty went right after hitters, using his upper 80s fastball that topped out at 89.4. Salonen showed feel for his CH and slider in his outings, flipping them in for strikes and weak contact. With more refinement, the Sioux Falls native will only continue to more deadly on the hill.

Jack Tooke RHP / SS / Mandan, ND / 2027

Jack Tooke showed off what he could do at this years Future Games. The Mandan, North Dakota native lived in the mid 80s with his fastball, topping out at 87.8. Tooke flashed a slider and splitter with depth during his outing, both being possible plus pitches in the future. With a 6-1, 182lb frame, there lots to like about Tooke and what he can do in the future.

SENIOR FUTURE GAMES IMPACT ARMS

Kyler Kudrna RHP / Dickinson, ND / 2026

The number 1 ranked player in the class of 2026 showed what the future could be. After getting hit somewhat hard in his first inning of work, Kyler Kudrna settled in and got outs. The projectable righty from Dickinson, North Dakota used his mid 70s slider early in counts, while ripping his fastball with a peak of 87.2 to force contact. With a 6-3, 180lb frame, there is plenty to dream on with Kudrna.
