This summer, the best uncommitted Class of 2027 prospects will head to LakePoint Sports in Emerson, GA for the premier Prep Baseball Report Future Games. For the first time ever, the state of California will be bringing two teams: Team NorCal and Team SoCal. The righty also shows potential two-way promise, showing flashes as a potential threat at the plate, as well as a solid defensive presence in the outfield. 

During his sophomore season for the Lions, Salisbury fanned 41 batters in 38 innings pitched. Gonzalez gave trouble to batters each appearance, holding hitters to a batting average of .148.

Salisbury also showed success offensively, hitting .370 with an OBP of .486.

At the NorCal Future Games Tryout, Salisbury showed off his entire arsenal, including his fastball which averaged the fourth best spin rate (2165 RPM) on the day. 

Salisbury’s offspeed pitches, which include a change-up, curveball, and slider, gave batters trouble in the live hitting portion of the event, displaying a variety of pitch speeds and a knack for pitch tunneling and execution.

With his crafty pitch mix, as well as his ability to provide a spark to Team NorCal’s offense, Salisbury will be an exciting player to watch at LakePoint later this month.
