2025 Prep Baseball Future Games - Team PNW Preview

Next week, Prep Baseball PNW sends some of the top 2027 talent in the area to LakePoint Sports Complex in Emerson, Georgia to play in the coveted Prep Baseball Future Games. The premier event of the summer features some of the best talent in the country, with over 400 players participating in last year's tournament already committed to play college baseball. Today, we release a preview of Team PNW, highlighted by standout athletes on both sides of the baseball. Players are split into pitchers and position players and are listed alphabetically by last name.

Power hitting first baseman in 6'4, 225 pound frame. Explosive bat and hand speed through the zone. Posted exit velocities up to 104.1 MPH and batted ball distances up to 394 feet this winter. Has run the FB into the upper 80's on the mound as well. Second Team Wesco infielder this spring. |

Tanner Davis SS / RHP / Kamiakin, WA / 2027Put together one of the best ID event showings in Spokane recently, after a fantastic season manning shortstop for Kamiakin. 6.67 runner with 87 MPH throws across the diamond. Quick RH stroke with some gap power. Up to 89 MPH on the mound as well with a three pitch mix. |

JT Girod SS / 3B / Central High School, OR / 2027Infielder with some positional versatility on the dirt. Has been near the top of the Oregon player ranks since the inception of the 2027 list. Medium framed athlete with smooth, connected right handed stroke. Smooth defensive actions. Spring was highlighted by winning Prep Baseball's National HS Player of the Week honors this April. |

One of the biggest breakout performers at PNW Preseason All-State. 6.69 runner in the 60 with quickness defensively. Posted a 1.90 second pop time. Some loft in fluid RH swing. Produced a fantanstic spring season for Snohomish and earned Prep Baseball's 4A/3A Second Team All-State honors as a result. |

Versatile defender can play nearly anywhere in the field, while providing some speed and bat-to-ball skills from the left side of the dish. Steeper stroke with upright posture yielded positive results in a look this spring. 6.9 runner, exit velocities up to 96.1 MPH. |

Harrison Buckingham RHP / 3B / South Salem, OR / 2027Showcased one of the best arsenal's at this winter's PNW Preseason All-State, running his FB into the low 90's for strikes with nearly 2400 average RPM on the offering. Firm SL averaging 2660 RPM is main secondary offering. CH in the low-80's rounds out arsenal. Posted a productive sophomore season for a South Salem side that finished 29-1. |
