Top Prospect Games Huntsville: Quick Hits
July 3, 2025
On Tuesday, July 1st, the PB Texas staff traveled to Sam Houston State University to host the Top Prospect Games: Huntsville.
There was a great group of players in attendance on a hot July day at Sam Houston State. Fast group overall with 8 out of 20 players running under a 7.0 in the 60. Deep group of catchers showing solid pop times in workout. Multiple players showed hard exit velocity in BP. Good group to follow back on and see in games checking for how tools translate. Full scouting reports will be coming soon.
Below, we will highlight some of the top performers on the day.
QUICK HITS
Easton Brunson – 2027 | Goose Creek | OF/1B
Strong overall showing. Ran a 6.95 60-yard dash. Left-handed hitter with loud BP rounds, flashing raw power and consistent hard contact. Solid approach at the plate with a clean, repeatable swing. Showed defensive versatility—average arm strength with carry from the outfield and clean footwork at 1B. In-game: barreled a triple to CF and added another quality AB, going 2-for-2 on the day. Physical frame with room to add strength. A definite follow—want to see more game at-bats to confirm tools translate consistently. A name to keep on the radar.
