Team Indiana: Workout Winners
July 23, 2025
The Future Games is in full swing to this point in the week. The Seniors finished their week as the 2027 class began theirs with the workout day on Wednesday, July 23rd. The position players from Indiana showed well on Day 1. Some showed off the high level tool that earned them the invitation, a handful shined with mature rounds of batting practice, but the three highlighted below shined above the rest on Day 1...

Isaiah Snavely SS / R Nelson Snider High School, IN / 2027+ The top ranked player in Indiana and one of the highest-touted prospects nationwide for 2027 - Snavely looked the part during batting practice with one of the top rounds of any prospect, regardless of state, that LakePoint saw on Day 1. A 6.63 60-yard dash was a precursor to an electric round that featured impactful gap-to-gap contact. There is a controlled ambush to the forward move before electric hands turn a tight barrel that plays with length to extension and his exits eclipsed the 100 mph mark. He followed with a quick-footed showing on the dirt, with an 86 mph arm across. Snavely's round was an eye-opening introduction to the hundreds of college coaches in attendance who are likely to lock in on the 6-foot-3 left-handed hitter as the week lives on.

Mason Meyer OF / C / Mt Vernon High School, IN / 2027+ Meyer walked away as a winner after the workout with team-bests in nearly every metric recorded. His 6.63 60-yard dash was a team best, as was the 93 mph outfield arm he showed and 1.86 pop he recorded. Explosive in all facets with a 5-foot-10, 185 pound frame - Meyer showed a true CF/C profile at a high level throughout the summer curcuit, and the metrics posted at such a premier event only further validates that evaluation. He worked behind the ball well during a polished round of batting practice that included exits reaching 97.9 mph, a top 5 (4th) peak exit amongst Indiana natives. The well-rounded toolset is only enhanced by established in-game abilities and one of the better mental makeups that this 2027 IN class has to offer.

Liam Delp SS / Center Grove, IN / 2027+ Twitch. Delp showed an abundance of it on Day 1 with a statement made in front of the hundreds of eyes of evaluators. He showed off his usual plus foot speed by burning a 6.6 to begin the day, though the statement was made in batting practice. Delp swung with intent to damage and posted a peak exit of 100.9 mph, the loudest of any Indiana native despite being one of the smaller-statured on roster at 5-foot-11, 170 pounds. The exits speak volume to the twitch in the frame, and that twitch was eye-opening when his electric hands and ambush move forward were timed properly. He showed off silky, athletic actions on the dirt with a left-side arm to pair (88 mph). Like the run tool, the defensive abilities are a trait Delp has well-established, but he certainly started the week with a bang by showing continuously-evolving impact that continues to develop at a rapid rate.
