Peoria Summer ID: Positional Data Dive

RJ Elmore
Western Operations

This past Tuesday, the Prep Baseball Arizona staff hosted it's third Summer ID event with the Peoria Summer ID. This event featured roughly 26 prospects in the 2026–2029 classes and provided a valuable opportunity for young athletes to get quality reps in a structured setting and compete in front of our staff. After some of the standout performances on Tuesday, it is clear that the uncommitted talent pool in Arizona is deep.

Players also received video footage and verified stats added to their profiles, giving them a head start in building their recruiting presence. Summer ID's also serve as key identifiers for Arizona’s Junior Future Games Team, which will head to LakePoint Sports in late July to take on top talent from across the country.

All players ran through a full workout that included batting practice and bullpens captured on our TrackMan and BLAST, as well as the 60-yard dash captured by VALD Performance and positional drills including velocities. Over the next several days we'll be highlighting top performers from the event within our post-event analysis. Stay locked into our social media channels over the next several days as we continue to push out video, leaderboards and more.

Yesterday, we released our Pitching Data Dive, where we highlighted some of the top Pitching performances from the event. Today, we will look into the positional data and some of their top performances.
