7/26 vs. Minnesota Game Recap
Game three was a close affair for Team PNW throughout as they used 8 different arms to secure the victory. Canby RHP Jack Brauckmiller got the start on the mound, throwing the first frame and showing similar upside as two days prior. Kamiakin RHP Tanner Davis logged his second appearance of the week in the second inning, running the FB up over 89 MPH to cap off his great overall showing.
One of the top bats in the area, OF Reece Johnson got the offense going early with a line drive home run down the right field line. Johnson, an imposing 6'4 lefty slugger, had been held relatively quiet in his first two games at LakePoint, but showed big time power with an impressive 102.5 MPH blast.

Meanwhile, two-way player Will Prinz threw a solid inning on the mound for Team PNW. Prinz showcased a FB/CH/SL combination from an athletic 6'1 frame, sitting in the mid-80's throughout. RHP Leyton Hurley threw the next inning after a great outing on Thursday night. Hurley set several new personal bests in velocity and spin rates this week with his FB and two distinct breakers. RHP Talon Coker was the other arm to throw a second outing, flashing premium upside once again.
The other major offensive highlight of the night came from Glacier Peak 1B Emmett Brown, who crushed the furthest hit home run for Team PNW of the event. Brown stayed on a hanging breaking ball and slugged one 102 MPH, traveling 408 feet deep out to left field.

Team PNW notched several other hits in this one, including knocks from Jesuit OF Kyle Goodwin, Tumwater OF Luke Overbay, Snohomish C Landon Klein, and Central INF JT Girod. Every single position player had a hit at the event in a great overall team showing.
Three new arms threw the final innings for Team PNW, with Emmett Brown and Cooper McGowan both running their fastballs into the mid 80's and pounding the strike zone. Tumwater two-way player Luke Overbay solidified his status as one of the biggest breakouts of the event with a 1-2-3, 3 strikeout inning on the mound. Overbay featured a nasty arsenal from a lower 3/4 slot release that could be manipulated, sitting 88-91 MPH with a plus changeup as well.
Team PNW secured a 5 to 4 win and moved to 2-1 at the Future Games event. Over 400 college coaches were in attendance to scout some of the top talent the area has to offer, and up and down the roster each player showed out well.
