2336 Phoenix Baseball Scout Day - Event Recap
The 2336 Phoenix Scout Day took place on June 26th at Walkertown HS in Walkertown, NC.
The event began with A pro-style workout for all the position players followed that included the 60 yard dash, pitcher bullpens with each pitch tracked by Trackman, a defensive evaluation, and finished with BP with TrackMan ball flight analysis,
Athletes participating in a Prep Baseball NC Scout Day also become eligible for future invitations to Team Carolina's premier events, including the Future Games, Super Sophomore Games, and Top Prospect Games. These invite-only showcases feature the top talent from across North Carolina, drawing attention from college coaches and professional scouts nationwide.
The day began with laser-timed 60-yard dashes using the VALD timing system, which tracked athletes' sprint metrics at the 10-yard, 30-yard, and 60-yard marks. The system also provided speed-based insights into acceleration and top-end run performance.
