2025 Seattle Summer ID Session III - Quick Hits
July 9, 2025
On Monday July 7th, Prep Baseball Washington hosted the Seattle Summer ID - Session III at Island Crest Park in Mercer Island. Prep Baseball scouts evaluated high school athletes in the 2026-2029 graduating classes, with several strong showings throughout the event.
Summer ID events serve as an important tool for both Prep Baseball scouts and college recruiters, who will subsequently create lists of prospects to follow as they plan their remaining summer coverage. We often tend to see prospects' best showings at Summer ID events, as players are fresh off playing for their respective high schools and are in the routine that consistently playing in-game offers. Standout performances can lend invites to some of the summer's top events, including the 2025 Pacific Northwest State Games.
Today, Prep Baseball releases our Quick Hits, detailing scouting notes on standout players from the event. Players are listed alphabetically by last name. For all other post-event content, click here.

Seattle Summer ID - Session III (7.7.25)
'26 INF/RHP Colby Andrews (Olympic)
Uncommitted two-way player posted solid metrics on both sides of the ball. Lean 6'1 frame with long levers that moved well from the right side, with a peak exit velocity of 96.6 MPH and a max batted ball distance of 342 feet. 7.07 second runner in the 60 with longer strides. On the mound, features a closed front foot at land with a cross-fire delivery from the 1B side of the rubber. Tight, high 3/4 slot release with FB up to 82 MPH. Spun the CB at 71-72 MPH with 2250 average RPM.
'27 OF/C Bryce Carl (Sumner)
Versatile athlete coming off of a productive sophomore campaign for the Spartans, hitting nearly .300 in varsity action, and looked the part in his first Prep Baseball showcase. Flatter RH stroke produced line drive contact with a peak EV of 94.4 MPH. 7.23 runner with ability to stick in multiple defensive positions. Attacked balls in outfield with 3/4 slot throws up to 79 MPH. Showed catching ability with 2.15 second pop times. Should continue to produce for the remainder of his HS career.
'26 INF Zach Daniel (North Creek)
Another player with a great spring season, Daniel led North Creek in batting average, hitting .345 overall. Medium framed athlete featured some twitch and quickness, starting his showcase running a 6.86 60-yard dash time. Middle INF actions with soft hands and throws up to 83 MPH. Bat-to-ball skills stood out in BP rounds, particularly when he kept the weight back, with knocks on the barrel up to 361 feet. Uncommitted player to follow.
'26 OF Jack Evans (Skyline)
RH swing produced some of the louder contact at the event, with a 95.5 MPH peak and 86.5 MPH average exit velocity. Toe-tap load with a wider base and firm front side at contact. Slight shoulder tilt with short hand path to contact. 7.06 runner with enough quickness for all three outfield spots. Throws up to 84 MPH. Well-rounded showing.
'26 OF/RHP Sean Evans (Tahoma/LMU Commit)
One of the more physically tooled up players in Washington's 2026 class, Evans put on the best rounds of BP at the event, driving balls up to 400 feet to the pull side. Athletic 6'3 frame moves well with loose wrists producing up to a 101.1 MPH peak exit velocity. Ran a 6.96 60-yard dash time, and can run the FB up into the 90's despite not pitching in this look. Athletic player has had mixed results on the field of late but can be a difference maker when clicking.

'27 1B/LHP Liam Gustafson (Tumwater)
Stocky 6'0 lefty with some intruiging tools. Showcased some range defensively at 1B before some quality BP rounds from the left side. Balanced lower half in swing with quiet head and strength at contact. Posted a 96.7 MPH peak exit velocity, driving ball in the air throughout. Three pitch mix on the mound, featuring a higher-spin FB up to 80 MPH and a CB at 69-70 MPH that flashed plus at times.
'27 OF/RHP Brayden McAllister (Lakewood)
Lean strength present in 6'2 frame. McAllister's arm shone as his best tool all morning, starting with 87 MPH throws with carry through the target from the outfield. Posted 89.2 MPH average exit velocities from the right side. Turned in arguably the most impressive showing of the event on the mound, featuring a FB at 83-87 MPH and a three-pitch mix for strikes. Tighter arm action and high-slot release with lower spin rates suggesting more velocity could come with added strength and development.

'26 OF Timmy McEwen (Tahoma)
Physical 6'2 corner OF type showed well in this one, starting his showcase with a 6.87 60-yard dash time. Shorter strides can close quickly on balls in the gap. Developing arm strength, throws up to 81 MPH. Bat stood out in a positive way, driving balls to the gaps with loud contact. Powerful levers maintain tight coil with a peak exit velocity of 96.6 MPH and a max batted ball distance of 352 feet. Bat should continue to play for the lefty moving forward.

'27 INF Beau Reid (Ballard)
Reid's bat stood out as one of the best at the event, accelerating through contact with bat speed from the right side. Extends out front to meet ball with powerful, whippy two-handed finish. Drove balls with a peak exit velocity of 97.4 MPH and a max batted ball distance of 374 feet. Made the routine play defensively. Underclassman should see more action moving forward for a Ballard side that made the state semifinals this spring.
