The summer is rolling, and Prep Baseball Idaho just wrapped up the Idaho State Games, which brought together over 60 players from across the state. The event was loaded with uncommitted talent, and plenty of players stepped up with strong performances in both the workout and live game settings. Several made a clear impression on our staff and are trending in the right direction heading into the rest of the summer.

As part of our continued coverage, we’re kicking off our Uncommitted Spotlight Series—a closer look at some of the top standouts from the Idaho State Games who are still on the board. Each of these players showed well and continue to raise their stock with their play.

We begin highlighting our summer showcase standouts with ‘26 Preston Flournoy, who put together a strong all-around showing at the Idaho State Games. The RHH posted a max exit velocity of 99.2 mph and showed a consistent ability to find the barrel during BP. He also ran a 7.02 in the 60 and recorded an 86 mph outfield velo, flashing solid athleticism and arm strength in the field.

The raw tools are beginning to come together for Flournoy, and he continues to trend upward with more reps and added strength. With the way he's performing, he’s definitely a player to keep an eye on as the summer rolls on.
