The summer is in full swing, and  Prep Baseball Idaho has officially wrapped up the Idaho State Games, which featured over 60 prospects from across the state. The event featured a deep group of uncommitted talent who delivered strong performances across all areas of the game. There was no shortage of standout prospects, and several made a lasting impression on our staff as they head into the rest of the summer.

As we continue our summer coverage, we’ll begin rolling out our Uncommitted Spotlight Series, highlighting some of the top prospects from the Idaho State Games who are still on the board and deserving of attention from college programs.

We begin highlighting our summer showcase standouts with ‘26 Preston Flournoy. At the Idaho State Games, Flournoy turned in a well-rounded performance and showed why he's a name to keep an eye on heading into his senior year. He posted a 99.2 mph exit velocity and an 81.5 mph bat speed during BP, flashing real power potential at the plate. He also ran a 7.02 60 and showed off an 86 mph arm from the outfield, giving a glimpse of his athleticism and strength across the board. The all-around tools are starting to come together for Flournoy, and as he continues to refine his game, there’s reason to believe even more is in the tank. He’s shaping up to be a high-upside prospect to follow closely this summer and into his final high school season.

This article will take a closer look at some of Flournoys's metrics from previous events, including the Idaho State Games.
