2025 Prep Baseball Minnesota State Games: Event Preview

Minnetonka, Minnesota - This coming week, Prep Baseball travels to Minnetonka's Veteran's Field to host the Prep Baseball Minnesota State Games event. This invite-only event will feature over 75 prospects from the class of 2026.

EVENT HISTORY

Last year's event saw over 160 players from the class of 2025 attend our State Games event. Over 130 players made their college commitments not long after attending. There were numerous strong performances but several stood out:

+ Minnetonka's Jack Butterworth ran his fastball up to 88.6 MPH and earned a spot on the Senior Future Games roster. The big right-hander would make his commitment to Arizona State and later attend the Upper Midwest ProCase where his velo would reach 92.7 MPH.

+ Rockford's Patrick Binnebose came armed with his heavy over-the-top fastball that maxed at 90.7 MPH. Binnebose would later make his commitment to Iowa Central.

+ Northfield's Seth Thompson but on a show during BP, sending baseballs into orbit and topping out at 103.5 MPH max exit velo. Thompson would also attend the Senior Future Games and make his commitment to Creighton.
