The week ten VA/DC Player of the Week goes to sophomore Casey Rector from John Battle High School. He helped the Trojans in the Mountain 7 District Tournament with a huge performance in the semifinal game where he picked up two hits and including a monster homerun that helped put them into the District Championship game. He made plays up the middle showing off the arm strength and the ability to defend. The Trojans would go on to pick up another win in the championship game becoming the Mountain 7 champion.
