TEXAS - Playoffs are in full swing in the Lone Star State and we have seen some great matchups throughout the second round. There have been plenty of players that have stood out as the lights get brighter and the moments mean more. Below, we highlight the Player of the Week as well as some of the top performers from the 2nd round based on submissions by high school coaches.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Taylor Tracey LHP / OF / Dripping Springs, TX / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 13 / POS: 3 OverallRank: 108 / POS: 16 On the brink of elimination in game 2, Tracey tossed a complete game shutout with 11 strikeouts, holding the opposition to just 2 hits. The Tigers would force a game 3 where Tracey hit a big HR en route to a series victory. For the series he was 5-9 at the plate and continues to show why he is one of the top players in the state.
