The Meadows	9	Mater Academy	0
The Meadows jumped out to an early 7-0 lead after the first inning, setting the tone for this Mustangs group. With 8 QAB's posted in the first inning alone, including hits from Rinetti (2B), Tesfaye (1B), Falb (2B, 2 RBI) and Seip (1B, 2 RBI). Rinetti and Tesfaye combined for a 7.0 inning shutout to put TMS into the winners bracket.
Moapa Valley	11	Pahrump Valley	7
An offensive game with 18 total runs posted, PV jumped out to an early 3-1 lead after 1 with the help of a Cratty RBI 2B and a Horibe RBI Sac Fly. After both teams post 2 runs each in the 3rd, MV added another 5 in the 4th with the help of a clutch Hadley 2B and a 3-run HR from T. Pettingill. PV tried to scratch their way back in the 5th and 6th with RBI's from Horibe and V. Whitney, but the MV bats continued to add as well with RBI's from T. Pettingill, Schouten to secure the opening round win.
Virgin Valley	4	SLAM	3
A tight, extra inning battle that saw Lund walk it off a RBI 1B to CF in the bottom of the 8th. VV jumped out early in the 1st with the help of an RBI 2B from Hughes. SLAM tied it up in the 4th after a Garcia RBI 1B in the 3rd and Everett stole home, 2-2 in the 4th. VV answered back with an RBI 2B from Perry to go up 3-2, only to be tied up again in the top of the 5th on a Caterine RBI 1B. The arms took over in the 6 and 7th with Litzenberg (VV) working through a scoreless 6, 7, 8 and SLAM's Gregorio, Stubbs working through scoreless 6, 7 until Lund walked it off in the bottom of the 8th.
