Uncommitted Spotlight: 2026 RHP Braddock Raven

Prep Baseball Texas Staff

Scouting Report

Braddock Raven is one of the more intriguing uncommitted arms in the Texas 2026 class. The right-hander from Victoria East has a lean, projectable frame and continues to trend in the right direction on the mound. He works in the upper 80s with his fastball, touching 90, and pairs it with a sharp-breaking slider that flashes swing-and-miss potential. The breaking ball is a true weapon, showing up to 20 inches of horizontal movement with spin rates north of 2700 rpm.

Raven has been a key piece of a 23-4 Victoria East squad with big aspirations this spring. He’s pitched to a 3-0 record with a 1.70 ERA, striking out 26 in 20.2 innings while limiting free passes and showing a starter’s profile. With a clean delivery, advanced feel to spin it, and more velocity likely to come, Raven is a must-follow arm for college programs as the summer circuit approaches.
