Oklahoma Class of 2026 Rankings Update: Winter Edition

Bret Schwartz
Prep Baseball Oklahoma Scouting Director

As the spring season begins, the Prep Baseball Oklahoma staff has once again updated the state’s 2026 rankings. Following our preseason showcase season, we have continued to update and expand our ranks as the list of juniors now reaches 220 players.

It is important to note, as the rankings continue to expand with the influx of so many new players, there are players that may decline in total rank even with improvement and passing peers. For an in-depth look at how we put our rankings together, click HERE

*We are constantly on the lookout for commitments from prospects throughout the entire 2026 class.  If we have missed one please feel free to reach out so we can get that added to the database.

RISERS AND NEWCOMERS

Jase Winchester SS / 2B / Edmond Memorial, OK / 2026

Winchester has continued to develop physically and it showed in our preseason. The shortstop has taken his game to another level as he ran sub 6.9, logged a 101 mph Exit Velocity, and reached 90+ mph across the infield. Rising to #14 in our latest installment, Winchester is a premier defender with his other tools becoming advanced as well.

Kaden Longman RHP / C / Newcastle, OK / 2026

Longman saw an uptick in his velocity but improved command in our look at the Preseason All State event. Rising from 30 to 15, Longman reached 93 with his Fastball while also showing advanced metrics on his Slider. Exciting prospect with much more still to come.

Brayden Trogdon RHP / 1B / Yukon, OK / 2026

Trogdon continues his rise in our rankings as his development, both physically and on the mound, is evident and steady. Jumping ten spots to number 25, the Yukon right hander flashed advanced metrics with his FB/CB combo with improved feel and command of both as well.

Cruz Gillespie SS / RHP / Oklahoma Christian Academy, OK / 2026

One of the biggest winners of our entire preseason, Gillespie oozes projectability from a long levered athletic frame. He set the bar with a 103.7 mph Exit Velocity at our Preseason All State and also broke through the 6.6 60 plateau registering a 6.58. The power and speed combo makes him one of the most exciting prospects in the state.

Owen Andrews RHP / 2B / Washington, OK / 2026

Our first look at Andrews was a good one at the OKC Preseason ID. He was especially impressive on the mound working his fastball up to 88 mph with armside run and sink from a lower slot. He also mixed in a firm breaking ball at 78-79 that flashed legitimate swing and miss potential.

Graham Knight OF / RHP / Bixby, OK / 2026

Knight sees a big jump in our latest rankings as he continues to develop and mature physically. Rising to 52, he showed the ability to consistently square balls up at the Preseason All State event while also showing big upside as a defender in the OF clocking a 93 mph OF velo.

Jaxon McArthur C / 3B / Elk City, OK / 2026

McArthur makes 10-spot jump behind the plate as the squatty backstop showed athleticism. He ran a 6.84 60, showed a consistent offensive move, and ability to catch and throw from behind the plate. He showed the ability to work beneath the baseball as a receiver while also registering a 1.8 pop and 81 mph velo from a squat.

Kamden Mantooth SS / RHP / Mustang, OK / 2026

Mantooth shows real versatility as a 2-way player manning shortstop and legitimate upside on the mound. He has physicality that adds to his upside with present athleticism. At our Preseason All State event, he flashed a well-rounded skillset with a sub 7 60, 93.6 mph exit velocity, and mid 80s from across the infield.

Cole Gossett 3B / RHP / Moore, OK / 2026

Gossett was a prospect that we saw increased development from over the course of the winter. Specifically on the mound, the projectable right hander worked the Fastball up over 87 mph and an upper 70s Slider. He continues to add mass and is an exciting prospect to continue following.

McGwire West LHP / OF / Verdigris, OK / 2026

West was one of the prospects that really jumped out with advanced metrics from a long and lean frame at the Preseason All State event. The left hander works from a lower slot that will give left handed hitters trouble, but showed advanced spin from his breaking ball. Further, the consistent shape emphasized the feel for the pitch.

Hudson Able RHP / OF / Oklahoma Christian School, OK / 2026

Able is a 2-way prospect that showed upside on both sides of the ball. The build is projectable from a 6’4” and 198 pound frame with the anticipation of added strength to also bring increased velocity on the bump. In our first look, Able gave us plenty to be excited about and to see in the future.

Javen Divine 2B / OF / Broken Arrow, OK / 2026

Divine showed his physical development as he continues to add strength to his frame. Clocking a 6.9 60, Divine also flashed the ability to play both the infield and the outfield at an above average clip with advanced feel and metrics in both areas. He’s a prospect we anticipate will continue to rise as he continues to add to his developing frame.
