It's time for our next weekly spotlights for some of the top performers across KY! Check out our Player of the Week for March 31-April 6

Ethan Jackson SS / Clay county High School / 2025

.556 AVG | .765 OBP | 1.889 SLG | 5 H | 10 R | 14 RBI | 1 2B | 1 3B | 3 HR | 6 BB | 2 SB

Taking home the offensive award for Player of the Week is 2025 Ethan Jackson! The senior out of Clay County was on an absolute rampage in the box this week, mashing just about every pitch he saw in the zone. Working competitive at-bats to actually record more walks than hits, Jackson definitely made the most of them as all five hits went for extra bases. The 6'1" 205lb two-way boosted himself to the top of the Tigers' offense this week, now leading the team in almost all hitting categories, including a .556 AVG. Although it didn't even matter for this award, the MIF/RHP also recorded a win in a 3.0 IP performance out of the pen, striking out a pair and allowing 1 ER. The Clay County squad rolls into the current week on a 4 game win streak during Jackson's charge, outscoring opponents 55-11 during that span. The Tigers will look to ride this momentum back in the 13th Region as they return from Spring Break with a red-hot offense, led by the physical senior. Congratulations to 2025 Ethan Jackson for being named Prep Baseball KY's Player of the Week!
