NEVADA - This season, we are excited roll out a new feature, the Prep Baseball Nevada Daily Round Up. This feature will include final scores and game notes from selected games going on throughout the state and will be updated daily to be your one stop shop for all things Nevada High School Baseball.

(#2) Palo Verde 13 Bishop Alemany (CA) 1
The Palo Verde bats seem to be priming at the right time with a huge 13 run effort 12 hits and 17 total QAB's. Clauss and Johns lead the charge with Clauss going a perfect 3 for 3 including a 2B and a 3B, with Johns going 2 for 3 with a 2B and 3 RBI's. #PBWCG24 standout, Lucibello, rolled through his 5 IP, allowing 1 ER while striking out 8.

The Bulldogs bats came alive in yesterday's matchup vs. SV, racking up 13 total hits with Turner, Jackson and Perez all having big days at the plate. Turner - 2 for 4, 2 R, 2 RBI, Jackson - 3 for 4, 3 R, 3 RBI, Perez - 2 for 3, 1 R, 1 RBI. This Centennial group has been working their way up the ranking the past few weeks, just in time for the playoffs.
(#9) Reno 3 (#4) Bishop Manogue 2
A key matchup between the Class 5A North current #1 and #2 seeds, the Huskies jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the 1st. A quiet game until the 6th when Manogue was able to bring 2 across to tie it up. A leadoff 2B from Jones who was eventually scored by a clutch 1B from Rex Edwards gave Reno the late lead. The Miners had an opportunity in the 7th to tie it up the the Reno arms held strong, secure a key win.

    The Roadrunners earn the the Class 4A Desert League Title after a big win over Legacy. With E. Lake racking up another multi hit game for the Longhorns, his efforts couldn't hold up the 11 hit effort from SECTA that included a pair of HR's courtesy of Barlow and Collingbourne. Uncommitted '25, Briggs, cruised through his 5 IP, allowing 2 earned while striking out 5. Barlow has assumed the closer role, earning 4 K's over his 2.0 IP to secure the win and title for SECTA.
    Silverado 9 Sierra Vista 5
    A quiet game early, the Skyhawks scratched across the first run in the 3rd with a Guariglia RBI 1B. SV followed it up with a 5 run bottom half with an RBI 3B from Alexander, an RBI 2B from McDonald and an opposite field 2-run HR. Silverado's Orphan 2B in a pair of runs to chip away at the Lion lead in the 6th, followed by a Piekarski RBI 1B to tie it up in the 7th. After Guariglia comes in in the 6th to stall the SV bats striking out 10 over his 4 IP, he steps up again to break the tie with an RBI 1B with Silverado crossing 3 more to go up 9-5 in the 9th.
