A two-way talent with a durable build of 6'0 and 210 lbs. Edwards is the rare catcher-pitcher combination. From catcher he has a good arm down to second base, reaching 80mph. He uses an RKD setup and gains momentum into his throws with a quick glove exchange, popping a 1.96-2.01. On the mound he has a mid-80s FB that jumps through the zone, a tight SL, and a traditional CB.

Moves well for his frame, including a 4.14 30-yard split time and 18.5mph sprint speed. His strength also translates into his bat, peaking at a 96.6mph exit velocity. He reached a max distance of 356 feet and maintained an average exit velocity of 86.2.
