We have our fourth update to the 2025 VA/DC Power 25. Although we expected a lot of movement with this week's update, that was not the case at all. While most all regions were active this past week with very few spring breaks taking place, for the most part, teams handled business. The weather effected schedules on the back end of the week and prevented some multi game weeks. The Top 10 stays the same, as all of those teams were undefeated this past week. This upcoming calendar week will see two major areas on spring break, with NOVA and the majority of the 757 being on spring break. Without further ado, we are going to highlight a few teams that have seen some movement in the Power 25.

VA/DC Power 25 Update Notes

+ As previously noted, the entire Top 10 was undefeated last week. St. John's once again had a three win week, Battlefield had a quality win over McLean, and Gainesville added another quality win, this one over a ranked Highland team.

+ Jefferson Forest moves into the rankings after getting the quality win they have been waiting on. The Cavaliers are off to a 9-0 start and picked up a big win over EC Glass to solidify their move into the Power 25. They have a light week this week, with only one game on the schedule, but a big week looming next week. They have two big matchups with Amherst (4/22) and Liberty Christian (4/25).

+ Maury is still sitting right outside and has a big test this week with Cape Henry. If the Commodores can make their way into the win column with that win, assuming they win out the rest of the week vs Booker T. Washington and Granby, that could elevate them into the Power 25 in next week's update. Maury is running up runs at an alarming rate, scoring 88 runs in seven games this season. There are not many tough tests on the back end of this schedule and this is a team that can run out to a 17+ win season before the playoffs begin.
