The 2025 high school baseball season is now in full swing, and we are pleased to present our weekly Power 25 rankings, showcasing Florida’s premier 25 teams. Each week, we will provide comprehensive updates, highlighting Risers who have elevated their standing, Fallers who have seen a decline, and Newcomers making their debut in the rankings. As we cover high school baseball games throughout the spring, we invite your insights and feedback regarding the placement of these teams. Please review our Week 9 update below.

Risers

#6 The First Academy

The First Academy has found their stride as they've won 9 of their last 10 games. They are coming off a big win over #9 Windermere last week and will face them again tomorrow. TFA has battled a tough schedule and has come away 18-4 so far.

#7 Spruce Creek

Spruce Creek is another hot team making a jump after winning 10 straight games. They have competed against some of the best teams on the East Coast of Florida and handled business. The Hawks are 20-2 and are ready for a playoff run.

Fallers

#17 Venice

Venice drops this week after a tough loss to Riverview last week. The Indians remain 18-3 on the season but can't afford any more slip-ups as the playoffs quickly approach.

#21 IMG Black

An 0-2 Week 8 record for IMG Black drops them a few spots this week. They lost 6-0 to Sebring then 5-3 in 10 innings to Inspiration Academy. They'll look to get back into the win column heading into their last week of the season.

Newcomers

#19 St. Thomas Aquinas

St. Thomas makes their debut in the 2025 Power 25 this week at 19. The Raiders are 17-5-1 on the season and have played a tough schedule with quality wins. They have beaten #13 Jesuit, previously ranked Jupiter, and bubble team West Broward. 2 of their losses have come against #2 Stoneman Douglas.

#22 Pace

Pace has been one of the top Panhandle teams this spring. 15-4 on the season with wins over Chiles, Lincoln, Timber Creek, and Pensacola Catholic. They take on previously ranked Gulf Breeze in a tough matchup this week.

#24 Creekside

It's been an up-and-down season for Creekside who has played one of, if not the hardest schedule in the state. The Knights have gone 15-8 and have wins over #7 Spruce Creek, #9 Windermere, #10 Hagerty, Lincoln, and Bolles. The Knights are battle-tested and have prepared themselves for a tough playoff stretch.
