Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Oregon Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.

Additionally, we will continue our Oregon Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.

Teagan Scott C / OF / South salem, OR / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 1 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 228 / POS: 15 The top ranked junior in the state earns Hitter of the Week honors after hitting .636 with 2 home runs, 3 doubles and walking three times. The Oregon State commit also scored 8 runs and drove in 10. Scott is a premier talent at the catcher position and one of the most imposing bats in the area.
