Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Oregon Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.

Additionally, we will continue our Oregon Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.

Gavin Price OF / RHP / South Salem, OR / 2025 Rankings  StateRank: 19 / POS: 3 Senior wins HOTW honors for week four of Oregon HS action after hitting .636 on the week with a home run, double and a triple. The senior also scored twice and had 6 RBI overall. Price is the second straight South Salem Saxon to win HOTW.
