Positional Profile: LHP/OF LHH/OF/1B Good build/frame to add strength in future. Solid defender in future in both OF and at 1st. Moves well on the baseball field. Solid bat/power combo in future with adjustment opportunities. Love the upside to bat/power with changes. Good makeup on the field. Fun to watch development over next few years. LHP Solid delivery and arm action. Arm speed developing, around plate with stuff. Shows feel for CB. Like the athlete and the way it works. Body: 5-9, 159-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength in future. Hit: LHH. Starts open with toe tap closing off working to stride. Lands in good position to hit. Shows linear move with back foot along with rotation movement. Develop consistency to back foot movement. I like the development of the linear move. Upper torso lays back with barrel in zone, work to stay upright, hitting into firm front side. Lay back of upper torso causes uphill swing creating fly ball contact. Hands start in good spot, barrel gets vertical then to very slight tip to pitcher. Long, scoop swing, work to firm barrel launch position, more towards back of head along with working to direct path to zone getting on plane with baseball. 1B to CF in game play along with 4-3, BB/K. Power: 83 max exit velocity, averaged 67.2 mph. 273' max distance. Project solid bat/power combo in future. Development opportunities with hit approach along with swing adjustments. Overall there's a lot to like with big upside with changes. Arm: LH. INF-75 mph. OF-78 mph. Arm works fine with developing arm speed. Feet work setting to throw. 1B…arm works, avg arm at least in future. Defense: Moves well to baseball, does a good job of breaking down to field. Good glove to hand exchange. Solid defensive player. 1B…moves fine coming off bag, gets body into position to field. When deep, feet work well. Fields baseball deep, work to field ball more out front. Solid defensive 1B in future. ATH: 8.08 runner in the 60. 1.89 and 4.41 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Stayed low in start, can improve driving left arm with start. Get elbows bent quickly and pump arms. Nice lean forward with body/shoulders with head up. Get head leaning forward. Speed will come.

Tate Pope C / 2B / CARTHAGE J H, TX / 2029
Positional Profile: C/2B RHH/OF…will have good strength in future. Moves well in OF, will be solid defender with range. Like the upside to bat/power combo, development opportunities present with hit setup and swing. Will be fun to watch develop over time. Good player. Body: 5-3, 120-pounds. Width to shoulders and back. Will have strong build in future. Hit: RHH. Slightly crouched start, short stride, lands in good position to hit. Rotational back foot with slight linear movement forward, nice job of using lower 1/2 in swing. Upper torso lays back slightly at contact, work to be upright along with hitting into firm front side. Front shoulder opens early, work to keep closed allowing hands to work out front, not pull out of zone. Bat speed present. Hands in solid position to launch, barrel starts flat, behind neck. Some length to swing, hands cast out slightly to start swing, take more direct path to hit zone with hands. Recommend trying to barrel little higher at start, this will also facilitate hands taking more direct path to hit zone. Power: 81 max exit velocity, averaged 73.5 mph. 240' max distance. Solid bat/power combo in future. Opportunities for adjustments present, like the upside to bat/power with changes. Shows bat speed present now. Arm: RH. OF-77 mph. Full circle, arm works well, footwork is good, does a nice job of keeping momentum up to throw. Follow throw with feet after release. Defense: Moves well to baseball, good job of breaking to field. Solid defender. ATH: 7.35 runner in the 60. 1.78 and 4.08 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Good start, good form, good stride. Moves well. Will be plus runner in future.

Wyatt Rains 3B / RHP / Bridgeland, TX / 2029
Positional Profile: 3B/RHP RHH/INF/RHP…Big build…will have strength in future. Project avg defensive infielder in future, shows developing actions. Interesting at plate, shows developing raw power, opportunities present for changes to increase hard contact and ability to get to raw. Nice to watch develop over next couple of years. RHP…solid delivery and arm action. Arm speed is developing, will throw harder as strength increases along with physical maturity. Around zone with stuff. FB showing some carry attributes, flashes solid CB action at times. Nice upside on mound. Body: 5-11, 230-pounds. Big body, width to shoulders and back. Thickness present. Will have strength in future. Hit: RHH. Open stance, lands in decent spot to hit after stride, I would suggest trying to see stride can be lengthened some, couple inches to start. Rotational back foot, hip rotates, can drive forward more in firm front side increasing lower 1/2 use and ability to impact baseball. Barrel/hands start in solid position to launch. Length to swing with barrel dump. Take hands/barrel directly to hit zone, not around zone. Work to keep barrel above the hands looking for line drive contact. Fly ball flares to right side or foul balls to right sides indicates barrel dump when hitting. Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 77.5 mph. 299' max distance. Solid bat/power combo in future. Shows bat speed and developing bat strength. Opportunities for adjustments present. Shows raw power present, will be able to get to raw consistently with changes. Arm: RH. INF-77 mph. Arm works well, shows developing arm speed. Defense: Nice 1st step moving to baseball, body moves to baseball fine. Shows ability to play thru baseball with feet, would like to see done consistently. Fields ball deep, work to field ball out front, with fingers down if possible…big hop no, but on balls that stay down yes. Overall good base to develop from, avg defender in future. ATH: 8.08 runner in the 60. 1.91 and 4.45 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Slow start, work to drive backside forward with explosive movement at start. Solid run form overall. Moves fine for big build. Speed will increase with added strength.
