Hit: LHH. Upright stance, lands with stride foot almost open to pitcher, would like to see close off slightly. Shows linear movement forward with back foot at times, like the move, work to develop. Went rotational with back foot occ, movements look better with linear movement forward. Nice posture to swing. Barrel/hands start in good position to hit. Some length to swing, does a good job getting on plane majority of time. Front shoulder flys open early, work to keep front shoulder closed, some length to swing, work to take more direct path with barrel. Solid in game play with couple of 2B hits to LF, along w/4-3 and F7. Love the ability create line drive contact.

Erik Marshall, a 2029 C/RHP from Stony Point, had a strong performance at the plate, showing the ability and willingness to use the whole field. He handled left-on-left pitching well and has a solid feel for the strike zone. As he gets stronger and learns when to pick his spots and really impact the ball, Marshall is set to become a force in the middle of the lineup. Behind the plate, he moved well and showed good skills. His arm strength will improve as he continues to develop.
