Positional Profile: LHP/OF LHH/1B/OF good build/frame to add needed strength. Look for run speed to increase some with added strength. Defensively developing actions at 1st, will be steady defender at 1B. Corner OF, steady. Adjustment opportunities present with hit approach and swing to firm consistency and impact in future. Developing player showing steady tools, strength improvement must for future success. LHP repeats delivery. Cutoff circle to back with developing arm speed. FB will develop, worked up in zone with FB, when down showed solid down plane and tail action. CB flashed quality action, with late depth, inconsistent feel for release point. Change tail/sink action, quality pitch. Looking for arm speed to develop in future. Chance to be feel to pitch type.
Body: 5-9, 159.2-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength. Width to shoulders and back present. Projects well physically.
Delivery: 3rd base side start. Knee lift with inward turn. Cast stride leg out and down, lands with cross step delivery. Solid finish out front.
Arm Action: LH. Cutoff circle, 3/4 slot. Solid finish out front. Arm works fine, arm speed will continue to develop.
FB: T76, 76-76 mph. Elevates FB, must work down in zone. Minimal life to present FB. Arm works, velo will increase. Down in zone showed tailing action to arm side. T1849, 1769 average rpm.
CB: 62-63 mph. Early action, big breaker. 1-7 type action with solid finish when landed. Inconsistent release. T2007, 1987 average rpm.
CH: 70-72 mph. Sink/tail action showing feel for pitch. Deception developing. T1254, 1210 average rpm.
ATH: 7.93 runner in the 60. Slow start, short strider. Work to lengthen stride some, got little upright. Run time will improve with added strength and physical maturity.

Hit: LHH. Rotational back foot, gets fully turned. Drive back foot forward firming the use of lower 1/2 in swing, this will increase ability to impact baseball. Nice job of hitting into firm front leg, stride foot into ground, solid posture at contact. Dead stop barrel from near vertical launch. Develop little pre-swing barrel movement prior to launch, looking for some rythym to swing. Recommend trying to get barrel little more behind head allowing for more direct path to zone. Presently, length to swing, barrel works back, down, then into hit zone. Improved launch position will allow more direct path.
Power: 66 max exit velocity, averaged 60.4 mph. 211' max distance. Projection bat/power combo in future with adjustments to hit approach and swing. Contact consistency and impact will firm with changes.
Arm: LH. INF-73 mph. OF-76 mph. Arm works with fair arm speed. Recommend long toss program to increase arm speed and raw arm strength.
Defense: OF…Solid OF'r. Moves well to baseball. Nice job of breaking down to field. Can firm use of lower 1/2 setting to throw, slow/methodical currently. 1B..moves fine off bag and deep. Firm ability to keep feet moving when fielding. Work to get palm facing baseball when fielding, fingers down.
ATH: 7.93 runner in the 60. Slow start, short strider. Work to lengthen stride some, got little upright. Run time will improve with added strength and physical maturity.
Tannyn Polk, a 2029 LHP/OF from Burkburnett, was one of the arms I got most excited about on Saturday. The left-handed pitcher has a projectable frame and shows a lot of potential. He’s got a repeatable arm swing, and his delivery is clean. Polk sat in the upper 70’s, but he’s going to throw much harder as he develops. He also showed a solid breaking ball for his age, with the right shape, and as it gains more power, it has the potential to be a really good pitch. There’s a lot to dream on with Tannyn, and he’s definitely one to follow as he continues to grow.

Positional Profile: LHP/OF LHH/OF/1B Good build/frame to add strength in future. Solid defender in future in both OF and at 1st. Moves well on the baseball field. Solid bat/power combo in future with adjustment opportunities. Love the upside to bat/power with changes. Good makeup on the field. Fun to watch development over next few years. LHP Solid delivery and arm action. Arm speed developing, around plate with stuff. Shows feel for CB. Like the athlete and the way it works.
Body: 5-9, 159-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength in future.
Delivery: Solid. Simple delivery. Nice job of using lower 1/2 in delivery. Solid direction with good finish.
Arm Action: LH. Cutoff circle, shows arm speed developing along with acceleration to arm. Good finish out front.
FB: T79, 77-79 mph. Around zone with FB. Shows arm side life at times. Developing carry to FB. FB will be good pitch in future as velo continues to develop. T1912, 1756 average rpm.
CB: 67-68 mph. Nice spin showing lateral movement, work to get on top of baseball increasing depth. T2059, 1987 average rpm.
ATH: 8.08 runner in the 60. 1.89 and 4.41 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Stayed low in start, can improve driving left arm with start. Get elbows bent quickly and pump arms. Nice lean forward with body/shoulders with head up. Get head leaning forward. Speed will come.

Hit: LHH. Starts open with toe tap closing off working to stride. Lands in good position to hit. Shows linear move with back foot along with rotation movement. Develop consistency to back foot movement. I like the development of the linear move. Upper torso lays back with barrel in zone, work to stay upright, hitting into firm front side. Lay back of upper torso causes uphill swing creating fly ball contact. Hands start in good spot, barrel gets vertical then to very slight tip to pitcher. Long, scoop swing, work to firm barrel launch position, more towards back of head along with working to direct path to zone getting on plane with baseball. 1B to CF in game play along with 4-3, BB/K.
Power: 83 max exit velocity, averaged 67.2 mph. 273' max distance. Project solid bat/power combo in future. Development opportunities with hit approach along with swing adjustments. Overall there's a lot to like with big upside with changes.
Arm: LH. INF-75 mph. OF-78 mph. Arm works fine with developing arm speed. Feet work setting to throw. 1B…arm works, avg arm at least in future.
Defense: Moves well to baseball, does a good job of breaking down to field. Good glove to hand exchange. Solid defensive player. 1B…moves fine coming off bag, gets body into position to field. When deep, feet work well. Fields baseball deep, work to field ball more out front. Solid defensive 1B in future.
