Game Preview:
The top two teams in the ultra-competitive Mission League will face off in a two-game series that will likely determine the league champion. Crespi has been nothing short of dominant all of the 2025 spring entering the matchup with an overall record of 18-1 and 11-1 in the Mission League. Harvard Westlake the defending Mission League champions have played strong baseball all spring with an overall record of 16-7 and sit one game back in second place of the Mission League with a 10-2 record.
Crespi has gotten here beyond an impressive group of upperclass talent especially within the SR. class which is loaded with D1 commits and potential professional players, but maybe the most impressive performance of the 2025 spring belongs to the uncommitted arm of Eisenhauer who has been absolute dominant all spring long for the Celts on the mound. The two key pieces have done a lot of the heavy lifting, but the staff as a whole has been electric having allowed only 25 runs in their 19 games all spring. Walton has continued to show the impressive ability on the mound which earned him a UCSB commitment. Offensively, the performance of Stonehouse has been huge all spring long for the Celts with Velazquez, Hodge, and Lopez being key contributors to the Celts outstanding spring season which has them sitting in the No. 2 spot for the Power 25 and if they can close out the spring with a Mission League title should find themselves in a prime position for a potential CIF-Southern Section D1 playoff run. The Celts have impressively scored 113 runs in 19 games for an average just under six per game.
Harvard Westlake won the Mission League in 2025 and made a CIF-Southern Section D1 title game appearance, but lost several key pieces off that team to graduation, but the stars have shined bright with the D1 commits of Tronstein and Laffitte each posting strong spring seasons. But, for the Wolverines the offensive attack has been a steady diet of a depth of talented hitters like Rootman, Villegas, Price and others performing well during their opportunities to contribute that has helped them score 125 runs over 23 games just over five runs per game. On the mound it has been a similar collection of arms mixing in strong performances in a variety of roles from Alexander, Chung, Kim and plenty of other talented arms for the Wolverines posting strong performances to hold their oppontents to a total of 87 runs in 23 games for just over three runs per game.
Claiming the Mission League title is never an easy process, but with the top two teams facing off in a late spring series with all the marbles on the table these two games are sure to be full of intensity.

Series Preview:
The top two teams in the Ocean League square off in a defacto league title series with each squad entering sporting matcing 17-6 overall records. Santa Monica sits in second place .5 game back of Culver City by starting Ocean League play with a 11-0 record and Culver City sits atop the league based on having played one extra game and sports a 12-0 record.
Santa Monica has been utterly dominant on each side of the baseball with an offense that has scored an eye popping 204 runs on the spring in just 23 games for an average of 8.8 runs per game. Then on the mound their staff has been as impressive by allowing just 44 runs in those 23 games for less than two runs per game being scored against them. Offensively, Myrow tops the Vikings by sporting a .450 average while Liberman is not far behind with a .436 average. Naini, Heirigs, and Hunter have all posted averages over .300 in extensive playing time this spring with Naini nearing the .400 mark by posting a .393 average. Liberman, Myrow and Hunter are the top three RBI producers with Liberman and Myrow both posting 6+ extra base hits on the season. The Vikings have featured the arms of Jennings and Kirtley as their two primary workhorses with Jennings tossing 47.1 innings while striking out 52 and Kirtley has thrown 30.1 innings with 46 strikeouts. Jennings has an ERA at 0.59 on the spring with Kirtley sporting a 1.38 ERA. Naini has been dominant in his 14.2 innings with 34 Ks and O'Neal plus Heirigs are each averaging over one K per inning pitched in 15+ innings of work. O'Neal adds a 0.46 ERA on the spring.
Culver City has been even more impressive on both sides of the game then Santa Monica which is hard to do considering the performance the Vikings have put up this spring. The Centaurs offensively have plated 219 runs in their 23 games while allowing one run less on the mound with just 43 allowed in those 23 games. Culver City has a trio of players who are sitting over .400 with their average on the spring while receiving consistent playing time in Asamura-Hall, Yepez and Carbo. Outside of that trio the Centaurs have five more regulars who are hitting over .300 well into the spring in the bats of Robinson, Ramos, Anderson Cablk and Riesenberg. Riesenberg and Asamura-Hall have posted three and two homers on the spring respectively while Asamura-Hall has driven in a team leading 24 runs and scored a team leading 27 runs. Riesenberg is second in both RBIs and runs scored with 13 and 26 runs scored. Weber-Smith has been the primary arm for the Centuars with 45.1 innings thrown, 73 strikeouts, six wins and an ERA of 2.16. Navarez has the third most innings thrown at 28 with 41 Ks in that span while posting an eye popping 0.25 ERA while winning four games with three complete game efforts. Yepez has thrown 33 innings with 34 Ks and has posted a 0.42 ERA while winning three games with one complete game.
Santa Monica needs a clean sweep of the two game series to jump over the Centaurs, while one win for Culver City would clinch likely at least a share of the 2025 Ocean League title.

Game Preview:
The Hornets and Wildcats enter this Marin County League series with the two still competing amongst a group of five different schools to finish near the top of the league and compete for a playoff spot. The Wildcats have dropped their last two games after running a three game winning streak with Novato having won three in a row and six of their last seven games heading into this series.
On the 2025 season the Hornets offensive has been consistently solid scoring 117 runs over their 19 games played averaging 6.2 runs per game so far while 69 runs in those 19 games. The Hornets bats have been powered by the duo of Scafani and Oliver with the pair both boasting averages over .400 well into the spring. Castaing and Garcia both are over .300 to help the Novato offense with Castaing leading the team in doubles (11), runs scored (22) while Vorhaus tops the Hornets with 14 RBIs, Oliver has blasted two homers and Garcia tops the squad with three on the season. Harmon has been the key arm for Novato throwing 46 innings with 71 Ks while posting a 0.91 ERA and has won five games. Vorhaus has been the number two arm on the spring with 42.1 IP, 45 Ks, four wins, two complete games, one shutout and a 3.31 ERA. Oliver has added a 2.00 ERA in five appearances for a total of seven innings pitched.
On the Marin Catholic side their offense has produced 87 runs in their 19 games while allowing 68 runs on the pitching side. Their bats have been powered by the trio of Martin, Davis and Untermann who are all hitting well over .300 on the spring with Martin at .390 to lead the team while his seven extra base hits top the Wildcats including a team leading four doubles and two triples. Davis tops the squad with two homers and 14 RBIs with Martin's 17 runs scored leading Marin Catholic. Davis, McGovern, Crum and Benjamin have each thrown 20+ innings this spring while Untermann checks in with 17.1 innings and Mitchell has thronw 17 innings, as well. Benjamin leads the team with 35 Ks (in just 21.1 innings on the spring) while Untermann has thrown to a 0.81 ERA. McGovern has the tops in wins at three while Benjamin has earned five saves on the spring. Davis has an ERA at 1.14 with Mitchell sitting at 1.24 on the year.
If one of the two can claim a series sweep in this two game matchup it will go a long way towards pushing them up the Marin County League standings and making a playoff berth look significantly more realistic.

Game Preview:
The Dons enter this Western League series fresh off a three game sweep to open their Western League schedule and sit in first place at 3-0 while the Patriots enter at 3-2-1 in a second place tie with St. Augustine after going 1-1-1 in their series with St. Augustine.
The Dons have been solid all spring on the offensive side of the game scoring 94 runs in 18 games for an average of 5.2 runs per game with a pitching staff that has allowed 55 runs across the 18 games for an average of 3.1 runs per game. Alex Harrington and Trey Gudoy are both over .400 with their averages well into the spring while Priest has an average of .400 in a contributor role to the Dons offense. LeTourneau has added an average over .300 in a contributor role. Alex Harrington tops the Dons with a total of 12 extra base hits leading the team with four triples and three homers while standing in second with five doubles while Gudoy tops the team with six doubles. Gudoy and Hunter Harrington have each driven in 15 runs to top the offense with Alex Harrington's 22 runs scored leading the squad. Uslander, Smyth and Kuhn have all toed the rubber for 20+ innings on the spring while posting ERAs of 0.79 for Uslander, 1.68 for Smyth and 2.23 for Kuhn. Uslander leads the staff with 38 Ks while Kuhn isn't far behind having struck out 36 hitters. Partida has thrown 10 innings with 11 Ks while Nalu adds nine innings with nine Ks for the Dons with Darvish having struck out seven in just 4.1 innings of work. Uslander, Smyth and Kuhn have combined to earn nine of the 12 total wins for Cathedral Catholic.
The Patriots have been similarly solid on the offensive side with 92 runs in 21 games for an average of 4.4 runs per game with a pitching staff that has allowed just 58 runs in their 21 games for an average of 2.8 runs per game. Ian Brooke continues to be the top offensive piece for Patrick Henry as the RH hitter is now sitting at .397 with his average including four doubles, three homers, 23 RBIs and 12 runs scored with him either leading or in the top two for each category. Mestman is the lone other Patriot to be hitting over .300 on the season boasting a .328 average while leading the team with 15 runs scored and seven stolen bases to top Patrick Henry. The trio of B. Gunn, J. Gunn and Cappelletti continue to be strong on the mound all continuing to strike out over one batter per inning pitched with Cappelletti leading the team with a 0.58 ERA, B. Gunn has a 1.00 ERA and J. Gunn sits at 2.18.
With a trio of teams sitting at three wins in the Western League two weeks into league play a dominant week by one of these two squads would put them in the drivers seat towards a title.
