The 2025 GHSA State Playoffs kick off on Wednesday. Playoff baseball in Georgia is some of the best baseball in the entire country and we are lucky enough to get to cover it. We have covered the state of Georgia from as south as Lowndes to as north as Gordon Lee and everything in between. Our staff has watched over 200 baseball games this year and can’t wait to cover playoff baseball.

Here we are going to breakdown the 1A-II GHSA State Playoff Preview. Coverage for the 1A-II division begins on April 25th with double headers at the higher seeds field. All match ups in the 1A-II division can be found HERE

Top 5 seeds: Gordon Lee, Jeff Davis, Pepperell, Social Circle, Toombs County

Final Four Sleepers: Bremen, Worth County

1A-I Playoffs

In this new playoff format we see teams like Washington County and Model with the 7 and 8 seed, but have proved to be 2 of the top teams in the class all season long. They will potentially run into big players like Gordon Lee and Jeff Davis so we are bound to have some big time match ups on deck. Here are some 1st round series we are keeping our eye on.

Worth County vs Dublin
Thomasville vs Pepperell
