Each week during the high school season, we will be announcing the Prep Baseball KS Player of the Week. We will rely on submissions from high school coaches and others by way of email ([email protected]) or DM on X (twitter). Nominations should include player name, grad year, position, and stat line. The Kansas High School Player of the Week will be released every Tuesday after noon. This week had the most nominations we have ever received with some of the most impressive numbers we have ever seen, making the selection a difficult process. We will cover all players nominated for player of the week in our Diamond Notes article that comes out on Wednesday's.

Ty Heitschmidt 1B / LHP / Smoky Valley, KS / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 243 / POS: 10 The small school product from Central Kansas had an explosive offensive week. The left-handed hitter went 10-for-15 with 3 doubles, 2 HR, and 14 RBI.
