Prep Baseball Dakotas

Prep Baseball Dakotas strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across North and South Dakota. Prep Baseball is the number one resource for high school baseball in each state that we cover through various events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work together, creating each state's most potent high school baseball promotion source. While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

As we prepare for the upcoming 2025 high school season, we will be taking a preseason glimpse at programs from around the state of North Dakota.

COACHES THOUGHTS

We return basically everyone from last year and have some young kids that have a chance to break out and let us be very competitive in Region 2. Soph Baron Burns is our starting SS and lead us in hitting last year (.268, 10 runs, 7 steals) out of the leadoff spot. He provides a reliable arm on the mound as well. SR Avery Gratton has started since 8th grade and is one of the best defensive CF in class B. He hit .265 with 13 SBs and a .479 OBP. He is a quality lefty arm on the mound as well, who we expect to get more work on the mound this spring. Jace Collison lead us on the mound last spring (29 inn, 3.82 ERA) and is finding his way at the plate in spring practice. Bo Solseng was our other main pitcher last year on the mound giving us a 20 innings and picking up a win in the region tourney. He is our super utility man filling in wherever needed on a given day. Looking for some soph to break out…Case Knutson is swinging the bat well this spring and also looks to fill a roll in the rotation as well and Tatum Stark was solid defensively last spring. Hoping for both to take a step forward this spring.
