Matt McKnight Named Prep Baseball NC Player of the Week
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Matt McKnight (3B, Charlotte Catholic, Class of 2025) has been named the Prep Baseball NC Player of the Week following a standout offensive stretch that helped propel the Cougars through another strong week of competition.
McKnight went 8-for-12 at the plate, tallying two doubles, three RBI, and eight runs scored. His week was highlighted by a dominant performance in a double header against East Mecklenburg, where he went a perfect 6-for-6 with three RBI and five runs scored, putting his all-around offensive ability on full display.
