We will be doing the Player of the Week honors at the beginning of each week with submissions due to [email protected] by 8:00 PM Sunday night.

Each week we go through all the box scores from throughout the week as well as look at submissions turned in by high school coaches to pick our Player of the Week.  There were numerous players that had massive weeks, but Hunter Watson's 21-Punchout performance in a No Hitter put him over the top.

The Oklahoma commit tossed a No Hitter which marks the second that he was involved with on the season as he threw the majority of one in an earlier contest. The 21 strikeout performance saw Watson finish the 7 Inning effort on his own. He also added a HR to his week along with 3 RBIs. The junior right hander was one walk and error from perfection but the 21 strikeout effort makes him our Player of the Week.
