The 2025 high school baseball season is now in full swing, and we are pleased to present our weekly Power 25 rankings, showcasing Florida’s premier 25 teams. Each week, we will provide comprehensive updates, highlighting Risers who have elevated their standing, Fallers who have seen a decline, and Newcomers making their debut in the rankings. As we cover high school baseball games throughout the spring, we invite your insights and feedback regarding the placement of these teams. Please review our Week 9 update below.

Risers

#6 Venice

A huge week for Venice in Week 9 as they took home the 2025 NHSI Championship in Cary, NC. It was an extremely tough test for them as they took on some of the best teams in the country on their road to the championship. They knocked off La Miranda (CA), Corona del Sol (AZ), the #1 team in the country in Corona (CA), and #2 team in Florida in TCA.

#12 Pace

Pace put together a strong run to end their regular season. They knocked off Lincoln, Gulf Breeze, Chiles, and two top Kentucky teams in Harrison County and South Warren. The Patriots are looking ready to make a playoff run.

Fallers

#15 Hagerty

Hagerty drops this week after a bad loss to a 7-17 Lyman team. In a home-and-home series. Hagerty took the first game 14-4 then lost at home the next night 1-0.

NR Doral Academy

Doral Academy falls out of the Power 25 this week with a 19-5-1 record. Doral's schedule has been fairly easy this spring and they have taken care of business in the games they should win. The harder games on their schedule is where they fall off with losses to IMG Academy and Stoneman Douglas of 15-3, 11-1, and 10-1. Doral is going to need to be more competitive against top-ranked opponents if they want to make a run at States.

Newcomers

#22 Lincoln

Lincoln is back in the Power 25 this week after some big wins to close out their regular season. They gave Buchholz its only loss of the season and closed out last week with a tight win over Gulf Breeze.

#23 Arnold

Arnold makes its way back into the Power 25 this week as they get ready for the playoffs. 19-6 on the season with 6 straight wins. The Marlins will look to carry their momentum into the playoffs.

#24 Bishop Snyder

After a week on the bubble, Bishop Snyder gets into the Power 25. They have rattled off 11 wins in a row as districts start this week and they'll have an immediate tough test as they take on Providence.
