Amos Rich Named Prep Baseball NC Pitcher of the Week

Amos Rich (RHP, Tuscola HS, Class of 2026) has been named the Prep Baseball NC Pitcher of the Week following a dominant outing in a win over rival Pisgah High School.

Rich was electric on the mound, tossing a complete game one-hitter with 19 strikeouts across seven innings. He allowed just one unearned run and two walks, showcasing solid control and the ability to miss bats throughout the outing.

The win opened a 2 game series with Pisgah that Tuscola would sweep, moving to 8-0 in the Mountain Seven 3A Conference. Rich has 5 appearances on the year, tossing 26 innings, striking out 49, while only giving up 7 hits. He is carrying a 1.05 ERA.
