Today we are releasing our second version of the Virginia/DC Private School Top 10. Take a look at some notes on a few teams from inside the rankings.

• The top three remain unchanged, as they all were undefeated on the week. St. John's, Miller School, and Highland School all had quality wins, including St. John's defeating two ranked teams and Highland School defeating one. Highland and Miller School were supposed to square off on Monday (yesterday) and that would have been another big test for each team, but Mother Nature pushed that until May 5.

• Greenbrier Christian had two huge wins this past week, defeating Godwin and Atlantic Shores. The Gators are off to yet another strong start this season and it is setting up to be another big year for Coach Nichols' group.

• While there are plenty of teams that were in consideration to move into the rankings this week, Flint Hill moves into the Private School Top 10 for the first time this season. While their 11-4 record is very comparable to some others, the Huskies have one of the best wins of any of those teams. Their early season defeat of Paul VI, along with a win over Collegiate, gives them the nod to move into this week's update of the Private School Top 10.
