Top Stories

+ Mason Ligenza

The #1 ranked OF in the state has certainly made a name for himself on the national stage since the last time we visited the 2025 rankings. Mason took the short flight to Chicago, IL for the 2025 Prep Baseball Super 60. THE National Event for the top draft prospects in the country. He not only preformed very well in front of the professional scouts and front office personell. He out preformed a lot of critics expectations, the 6'6" LHH ran an impressive 6.43 and recorded the second highest exit velocity at the event at 106.6 mph. The combination of size, strength and speed is something every kid dreams of having and is certainly sought after in the ever changing game of baseball. The University of Pittsburgh commit is geared up to have a big time high school season.

+ Franklin Pichardo Jr.

Pichardo has certainly gained a ton of attention over the past 2 years. The first time we got eyes on Franklin was at our 2023 District 1 Scout Day, from that time we knew he was going to be special. He has only progressed both at the plate and defensively. He is certainly hard to miss and made everyone in attendance at our 2025 Northeast Procase snap their heads and tune into his BP round and his defensive round. Visible effortless actions on both sides with exit velocities nearing 101 mph and pop times hovering in the mid 1.80s in a showcase setting, it is undeniable to see the development progression that he is heading on. One of the biggest jumps in the rankings he climbs to #17 after argueably the best showing at our Procase this past Febrauary.

+ Justin Borger

Borger has been the center of quite a few conversations amungst our staff. Whether it involves the ever changing landscape of college baseball, and the high level of talent spanning all divisions . As he will be stepping onto campus at the Division 3 powerhouse, Penn State Harrisburg. Or the fact that he was the biggest suprise out of our Northeast Procase. Last spring at the end of April we saw Justin pitch at 80-84 with feel for both a CB and CH in zone. What a difference a year makes and dedication to an offseason program. In February we saw Borger pitch at 87-89 with a sharp CB that has swing and miss capabilites. Every year there is someone that attends our Northeast Procase that turns heads and is the center of conversations for weeks to come this year it just happens to be the RHP from Elizabethtown.
