Prep Baseball is proud to unveil the first-ever Southeast Super Sophomore Games, set to take place August 2-3, 2025 at LakePoint Sports in Emerson, Georgia — one of the nation’s top destinations for elite amateur baseball.

This invite-only event is the premier scouting showcase of the summer for the top prospects in the Class of 2028, along with select 2029 prospects from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The Southeast Super Sophomore Games brings together the region’s top underclass talent, offering unmatched exposure and evaluation from some of the most respected scouts and college recruiters in the country.

On Saturday, August 2nd, athletes will participate in a pro-style workout featuring industry-standard testing and cutting-edge technology. All prospects will be equipped with a numbered Prep Baseball jersey sponsored by Mizuno, helping identify players throughout the event. Each jersey is paired with the Mizuno Tee, a lightweight performance shirt designed for comfort and visibility throughout the showcase. Every metric collected at the Southeast Super Sophomore Games is gathered using the highest-standard equipment in the industry, including:

• TrackMan for hitting and pitching data
• Blast Motion for swing analysis
• Stalker Radar for throwing velocities
• VALD Performance Laser Timers for verified running times

These stats are seamlessly integrated into each athlete’s Prep Player Profile, which serves as the cornerstone of their recruiting journey. Players will also receive the Prep Baseball Tech Package, and each performance is ranked with our recently launched Performance Tiers, showing exactly how each prospect stacks up among peers. 

After Saturday’s showcase, players will be divided into teams by Prep Baseball staff and will play two live games over the course of the weekend, allowing scouts to see them in competitive action. All athletes will receive custom Mizuno gear for the two-day event, aligning with Prep Baseball's national partnership with Mizuno to elevate the player experience.

The road to the 2026 PBR Future Games begins here. As the most prestigious underclass event in the country, the Future Games has become a launching pad for countless college commitments — and the Southeast Super Sophomore Games is where that journey starts. Our Prep Baseball scouting staff will use this event to begin identifying and tracking prospects for next summer’s Future Games roster, evaluating players’ tools, projection, and in-game performance to build early watchlists. For many, this will be the first step toward representing their state on the biggest stage for uncommitted underclass talent.
