2025 OSSAA Power 25: Week Seven

On the downhill side of the regular season, we update our Power 25. This week saw competitive district matchups along with some big matchups on the backend of the week. This update features a few small changes due to results on the field as well as still some projection with the talent on the field.   All scores and records are from the OSSAA Rankings page.

Owasso stays in our top spot as they improved to 14-1 on the season and 5-0 on the week including a district sweep of Jenks. At 2, Edmond Memorial continues to stay hot as well moving to 20-2 on the week as well as a district sweep of Yukon in two tight ballgames. Bixby remains at 3, improving to 19-4, and 4-0 on the week. Newcastle moves back up to 4 after improving to 20-2 on the season, a 5-0 week, and a district sweep of a talented Mount St Mary squad. Finally, moving into our Top 5 is Blanchard as they improved to 22-1 and a 5-0 week behind a talented offense that can beat teams in a variety of ways.

Amongst our biggest risers, Collinsville moves up three spots to 12 with an 18-3 record, and a big district matchup against Bishop Kelley on tap beginning tonight. Dale also moves up three spots to 13, 17-3 on the year, and big wins over Stillwater and Elgin to close the week. Finally, Hilldale debuts in our Power 25 after a 4-0 week continuing their successful year and running their record to 19-2. They added impressive wins over Marlow and Claremore on the week as well.

The meat of the rankings generally stay the course with numerous teams continuing to stack wins. We have another great week of games on tap and look forward to some big matchups over the next couple weeks as we move down the home stretch.
