Prep Baseball KC Showdown Weekend Review

The 2025 Prep Baseball KC Showdown wrapped up on Sunday, April 13th, with 14 teams emerging as champions in one of the largest and most competitive youth baseball tournaments of the spring. Teams from Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota gathered at four premier locations—the Creekside and Homefield Baseball Complexes, Bonner Springs High School, and St. Mary’s University Baseball Field—making the event a true regional spectacle. With 133 teams competing, the weekend was filled with thrilling matchups and unforgettable moments.

Here are the chmapions and MVP's form the 2025 Prep Baseball KC Showdown:

  • 9u D3- Engaged Athletics- Duncan went 4-0 with a run differential of 54. My #ShowdownMVP: #15 Daulton Gaschler.

  • 10u D3- 10u BC-Battles went 3-0-1 with a run differntial of 30. My #ShowdownMVP: #55 Teddy Helgessen.

  • 10u D1/D2- KC Heat went 4-0 with a run differential of 17. My #ShowdownMVP: #13 Tahvo Del Villar.

  • 11u D2- BC Wilson 11u went 4-1 with a run differential of 12. My #ShowdownMVP: #9 Rocco Severino.

  • 11u D3- Engaged Athletics 2032 went 3-1 with a run differential of 3. My #ShowdownMVP: #6 Parker Anderson.

  • 12u D1- Old School Ducks- Mitchell went 4-0 with a run differential of 20. My #ShowdownMVP: #14 Sawyer Sutton.

  • 12u D2- Mammoth Mavericks went 5-0 with a run differential of 44. My #ShowdownMVP: #11 Wyatt Stallbaumer.

  • 12u D3- Jaguars went 4-0 with a run differential of 34. My #ShowdownMVP: #5 Mathew Crooks.

  • 13u D1- 13u Prime 27:17 National went 4-0 with a run differential of 26. My #ShowdownMVP: #9 Lorin Sapp.

  • 13u D2- SPY Academy Wolfpack 13u Black went 5-0 with a run differential of 35. My #ShowdownMVP: #28 Landon Testerman.

  • 13u D3- YBC Payton and YBC Griddine were co-champions. A combined 6-1-2 record with a run differential of 24.

  • 14u D1- Prime Nationals 14u went 5-0 with a run differential of 32. My #ShowdownMVP: #17 Brody Cook.

  • 14u D2- Futures 14u went 5-0 with a run differential of 27. My #ShowdownMVP: #10 Caedenn Moore.
