Was on his barrel all weekend.  LHH with leverage and showed the ability to drive the baseball in event to both gaps. Some rawness to his game with high ceiling metrics from the 2025 Preseason All-State.  98.1 Exit / 89 OF velo.

Strong build with a longer arm swing, had swing and miss stuff against Millard West, striking out 10 in 5 IP, walking only 3. Fastball was 87-91, curveball had depth, with a more 12/3 break at 74-78.

Uncommitted LHH was red-hot against Elkhorn South.  First 2 AB were HR/2B, added 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored.  Adjustability in swing with ability to lift with pull side pop in game

Mixing 3 pitches in the zone effectively. CH has been nasty with movement and location at 79-81. Fastball has sneaky quickness through the zone sitting 85-86 T87. Curveball 73-76. Struck out 5 in 4 IP.

The epitome of a dirtbag baseball player—in all the best senses of the term. Thomas put a banket in CF over the weekend ranging from gap-to-gap, tracking everything down.  Leads off for the patriots with a good feel for the zone and contact line drive approach. Can cause havoc on the bases as well.

Filthy 1st look at the Iowa Baseball commit this spring. Improved stuff with command early in the game FB (91-93) had life moving it around the zone. His cutter (84-86) is a new pitch with late, short quick break. Breaking ball (73-77) has a bigger break with depth and some sweep .

Throwing wiffle balls tonight, filling up the zone out of a low 3/4 slot, creating a lot of movement. FB 80-82 getting a lot of weak contact and s/m on all three of his pitches. Through 5IP 8Ks 1H 0BB 0R.

Big weekend on both sides of the ball for the #1 2026 in Nebraska.   

Fastball / Breaking ball mix. Sat 90-92, breaking ball was sharp and late getting swing and miss 79-82. Ran into some trouble in the 4th has Storm up 3 with 6Ks through 5IP.

Standout at the Unsigned Senior Showcase flashed ability to lift and drive the baseball in BP. Multiple multi-hit games on the weekend. A name to look at if need some OF help in the 2025 class.

Had multiple HR on the weekend from the leadoff spot. Sparkplug for the Spartan offense and leader behind the breathing confidence into some younger inexperienced arms.

Physical LHH & Reiver commit sits in the middle of the East order.  Multiple loud barrel from him on the weekend. Has big time juice from the left side.

The Northwest CC commit touched 85. He changed speed and locations well scattering 6 Hs over 4 IP with only 1 run given up.

St Thomas commit is a baseball player in every sense of the term.  Plays hard, turns a quick double play.  Short compact stroke at the plate with ability to use his speed on the bases

T97 hit 96x 3 in the 1st, Sat 93-95. Spun Two different BB effectively 78-81 w/ sweep and depth & 84-86 short tight cutter.

No. 1 in ‘27 class gets a lot of love for his ability in the mound, Day is extremely talented on both sides of the ball. Two barrels score 2 of the 3 R in the game, first 1B & RBI broke the 0-0 tie. This sac fly provided insurance late.

Prep Baseball Junior Future Games Team Midwest alum Freshman came in to close out the 3-0 W - 1 K, 1 IP. FB sat 83-85, whip to his arm action with some funk/deception to delivery. Attacked hitters.

Stuff was good. T92 sat 88-90, confidence in his breaking ball T80 sat 75-78 throwing it often. 5Ks 5.2IP

Manipulated the zone with speeds and locations. Scattered 7 hits stiking out 4 giving up 2 runs in 5.2 inngins pitched.  Upside in 6'4" body FB topped 82 sitting 78-81.

DH and led off on offense.  Came in in relief to close, 89-91 T92 with some life out of his hand. Had bite to breaking ball 78-82.  1K in 0.2 IP

The former Future Games Team Midwest standout had two of the hardest hit balls, a triple and a single, on a day where thre wasnt much offense for either team.  Gamer MIF with high level effort.

Strong 3.2 IP from the sophomore RHP striking out 6 depite taking the extra inning loss. FB topped 85 sitting 82-84 with a tight late breaking ball at 74-77.  Ingriguing prospect to follow in the spring

Wayne State commit 85-88 T89. Slider was a weapon T80 sat 74-77 a lot of s/m. Loads up upside in 6'5 frame for the Wilcats next year

Filled up the zone with three pitches. Mixed and matched speed and locations. 78-82 FB - 3Ks, 1BB 5 IP - Chipped in a 2 RBI single on the offensive side of the ball

#1 SS in the 2026 class and currently uncommitted continues to swing a hot stick to start the year. Short quick stroke with pop gets the barrel on this hard double in the gap

Another prospect in the 2027 class for NE.  Coming off a big Nebraska Preaseason All State event has the upside  of a  two way player at the next level.  Played OF in today matchup.  3 really good ABs. Single, runs scored and 2 BB.  Can dial it up on the mound as well, No doubt name to circle back on before August 1st

Rainy/ Windy/ Cold day #1 2027 in NE. Topped 91 (87-90) with his Fastball, Slider (75-78) and Change (73-76) tunneled well with late movement 6.0 IP / 8Ks 

Nolan Rapp 1B / RHP / Elkhorn North , NE / 2026

Length and projectability to 6’4 frame Fastball topped 86 sitting 83-85. More 12/6 shape to his 68-71 breaking ball. Name to keep an eye on in the 2026 class.

Augustana commit used a short stroke and found all of the barrel for a 2 RBI Double to put the Sky Hawks up early.

Liked the first step and the hands around the ball.  Made some really good plays at the SS position.  Tough backhand play showing off the arm in the hole early and a tip ball off the pitchers glove showing good body control and poise on the awkward angle and throw in a 1 run ball game.

Braeden Hosey SS / 2B / WESTSIDE HIGH SCHOOL, NE / 2026

Intriguing athletic ability for the Westside SS. Clean actions and quick feet provide upside on defense, switch hitter with bat to ball skills and ability cause havoc on the bases. Was 1-4 2 RBIs and a walk.

Leadoff hitter and shortstop for the Silver Hawks. Had 2 hits, RBI, and a stolen base. The blend of size and athleticism provides interesting upside for the Uncommitted 2026.

Big numbers from the recent 2025 Nebraska PSAS have translated well early in the year.  3-5 Double and a run scored in the season opener for Lincoln Southwest. The 2026 uncommitted OF has shown big time pop (98.1 Max exit) with plenty of arm strength (89) in event and looks to be settling nicely in the middle of the Silver Hawk order.

One of the Top arms in the 2027 class pitched like it on Opening day.  Andrew is advanced physically showing off his durability  coming in relief for 4.1 innings striking out 5 and walking only 1.  His fastball sat 85-86 the whole outing getting awkward swing on his mid 70s Breaking ball.

Uncommitted RHP sat 80-83 striking out 6 in 4.1 IP. Showed ability to change speeds in the zone and pitch with runners in scoring position.   

Jaxon Volkmer SS / 2B / Lincoln Norheast, NE / 2025

Recently committed to Nebraska Wesleyan.  Like the actions and energy he provided from the leadoff and shortstop position. Had a hit, RBI and walk, putting pressure on the defense in multiple ways.

Stayed in and around the Zone with 3 pitches in his 5.2IP.  Topped his FB at 81 sitting more 77-79.  Manipulated counts with speeds and location struck out 8 and walked only 1.
