The junior stood tall during his impressive 5.0 inning No Hitter, striking out 7 while needing only 85 pitches to complete the performance. "Venis got stronger as the game progressed, striking out 3 of the last 4 batters faced." This was the first Galena No Hitter since 2020 and was no small feat against a tough Douglas squad. We continue to see his game progress on both sides of the ball, but especially on the mound where he has continued to gain feel for each of the pitches in his mix. Keep an eye on this Galena product as one to be a key piece of the Grizzlies playoff push into a big Summer season.
