Week 5 2025 OR Pitcher of the Week - Grady Saunders

Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Oregon Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.

Additionally, we will continue our Oregon Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.

This week's Pitcher of the Week is '26 RHP Grady Saunders (Thurston).

Oregon State commit and one of the top arms in his state class was dominant last week, throwing 7 innings of no-hit ball while striking out 16 batters. Saunders did not walk any batters, with one HBP the only blemish on his otherwise perfect outing. Saunders was seen by Prep Baseball staff a few weeks ago, running his FB into the low 90's, and should continue to be one of the best arms in the state.
