The team relied heavily on Kennedy Capp, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI. Led the team with 3 RBIs (half of the team's total runs). Went 2-for-2 at the plate (perfect hitting day). Had a single in the 5th inning that helped tie the game. Had another single in the 6th inning that contributed to taking the lead. |

| Landon Olsen | 2025 (SR) | Lake City | Landon made two separate relief appearances against #7AA Zumbrota-Mazeppa. He pitched 2 innings in an 8-0 loss on 4/14 giving up 3 hits, 2 runs (1 earned), walking 1 batter and striking out 2. The nomination mainly stems from three days later on 4/17, throwing 6 innings of relief and picking up the win on the mound in a 9 inning walk-off victory. He allowed 4 hits, 2 runs (1 earned), walking 0 and striking out 6 en route to handing the Cougars their first loss of the season. Landon beared down and made some great pitches resulting in outs against a tough lineup! |

Max Niedfeldt threw a CG at Chatfield and beat them 4-2 on Monday April 14th. He gave up 1ER, scattered 5 hits, and struck out 5 batters. At the plate, he also went 3-3 with a walk to lead our offense. |

| Nathan Thode | 2025 (SR) | Hutchinson | On April 17, in his first outing in 12 months, Nathan Thode threw 6 innings giving up 0 runs and 1 hit while striking out 7. He also doubled and drove in a run in the Tigers 7-0 win over Holy Family. |

The earned run was the first earned run Sam had given up since May 3rd of last year, a stretch of 47 consecutive innings without surrendering an earned run.
