The Tennessee Diamond Notes is back for 2025 and will focus on highlighting some top performances across the state based on nominations from high school coaches. We will highlight those positions players, pitchers and two-way players every Wednesday of the high school season that are deserving to be highlighted based on their performance. 

Thanks to the many high school coaches that sent in nominations this week.

TENNESSEE DIAMOND NOTES: WEEK 7

Clayton Speck SS / 3B / Briarcrest Christian, TN / 2026 The uncommitted junior got on our radar this past winter at the PAS where he was impressive with both the glove and the hit stick. He would go 6 for 10 on the week with 3 doubles, 1 triple, while also 4 RBI’s and 4 walks.

Jack Dame SS / 2B / PROVIDENCE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY, TN / 2027 Finished the week batting .545 with 3 RBI’s and 1 double.

Davis Warren OF / RHP / Providence Christian Academy, TN / 2027 Finished the week batting .400 WITH 3 RBI’s and 1 double.

Jackson Livesay SS / Providence Christian, TN / 2026 Finished the week batting .385 with 4 RBI’s with 3 doubles.

Sean Birkofer OF / RHP / Providence Christian Academy, TN / 2026 Birkofer has been a steady Diamond Notes recipient and remains one of our top uncommitted prospects in the 2026 class of TN. He would bat .333 on the week with 6 RBI’s, 1 HR with 2 doubles.

Devon Paxton C / 2B / Meigs County, TN / 2025 Would have a phenomenal start on the bump going complete game with 14 K’s, 0 walks with 0 runs given up in a win in district play.

Corbyn Frisbie C / Mcminn Central, TN / 2027 Finished the week batting .353 with 9 RBI’s and 2 doubles.

Hunter Rayburn 3B / OF / Mcminn Central, TN / 2026 Hit .373 on the week with 6 hits and 1 HR, while scoring 9 runs.

Dylan Bowser 3B / C / Halls High School, TN / 2026 Had a strong week at the plate batting .646 with 9 hits that included 2 doubles, 6 RBI’s with 9 walks finishing with a .773 OBP.

Fisher Green SS / RHP / Halls, TN / 2028 The former Junior Future Game alum was dominant last week getting a win on the mound in district play. He would pitch 5 innings, collecting 11 K’s to just 2 hits, 1 walk and 1 run.

Jameson Napper LHP / OF / Grace Christian Academy, TN / 2026 The Vanderbilt recruit continues his impressive season on the mound with another stellar performance against a district foe. He would go a complete game with 18 Ks (School Record) while issuing 0 walks and only giving up 3 hits with 71% strikes. He would have one of his best efforts on the season in a much needed 1-0 win over Providence Christian Academy
