The Prep Baseball Idaho High School Player of the Week highlights the best performance for an Idaho High School player from the previous week.  Each week, High School coaches across the State are asked to fill out our questionnaire for Pitcher and Player of the Week, along with our scouting staff attending games and scouring box scores throughout the week.  Every Saturday a link will be pushed out on social accounts to the Player/Pitcher of the Week questionnaire with a deadline of Saturday night at 11:59PM, followed by the announcement on Sunday.

This weeks 'Player of the Week' honor goes to '25 Dawson McInelly Sugar Salem (Utah Tech Commit). The Sugar Salem product had an incredible week at the plate, blasting an astouding 6 home runs, 2 doubles, a triple, and batting in 15 runs for the Diggers.

'25 OF Dawson McInelly Sugar Salem (Utah Tech) was an absolute work horse at the plate this week for the Diggers. Blasting an incredible 6 home runs in 4 games. McInelly was able to propel Sugar Salem to 4 wins last week while pushing 15 runs accross. The combonation of speed and present power was on display as he also hit 1 triple and 2 doubles. The Utah Tech commit also landed himself in the top ten in the nation for homeruns on the season with 10 total this year. He has been electric to watch this season and looks to continue to be a key part of the Digger line up.
