Coach Hawk and the Yellowjackets have shown to be resilient throughout the season both in game and moving forward following a loss. Offensively, they are one of the deepest and most competitive lineups in the state with a wealth of experience mixed throughout. They’re led by Tennessee commit, senior Cash Williams but have had production from plenty of others including Bryce Tapley, Gaige Albright, Reuben Robinson, and Cade Green. Juniors Broedy Taron and Logan Nei have also been impactful as Taron continues to play high level defense at SS. Sophomore Titus Hawk, long levered multi-sport standout, has hit in the 2-3 spot throughout the season and continues to show his athleticism and ability to execute as part of the Yellowjacket team offense. On the mound, they’re led by OSU signee Gaige Albright as the left hander works into the low 90s while utilizing his entire mix. Broedy Taron has slotted in as the #2 and the middle infielder offers a ton of feel while being ultra competitive. Adding to the group, they continue to get valuable innings from a variety of arms including Reuben Robinson and Aidan Crews. A mix of senior leadership, talented underclassmen, and a gritty offense that can score in a variety of ways give Choctaw an opportunity to make a lot of noise this postseason.

Norman North Timberwolves

Overall Record: 16-19
District Record: 5-9

PLAYERS TO WATCH:
CF Will Lundquist (2025; Seminole State)
OF Kylan Johnson (2027)
C Charles Copus (2027)
RHP Terry Purcell (2026)
INF/RHP Austin Ihrig (2025)
UTL Carson Hawk (2025)

Coach Aylor and the Timberwolves march into the postseason as one of the more scary 3 seeds throughout the entire field. Led by leadoff hitter and Seminole State signee Will Lundquist, he can pressure teams in a variety of ways, as one of the fastest baserunners in the state, and sets the tone for the offense. Sophomore catcher Charles Copus has been firmly planted in the middle of the lineup for weeks as the physical backstop has shown the ability to produce against some of the state's best arms. Sophomore outfielder Kylan Johnson has also added athleticism to the Norman North lineup from the left side and looks to add to their offensive punch. On the mound, Terry Purcell and Austin Ihrig can give the Timberwolves a chance to beat anyone as both are different types of arms as well. Purcell flashes plenty of upside with a lean frame and athleticism while Ihrig has pitchability and feel that often times comes with an infielder. Norman North has been streaky at times but are winners of 5 of their last 7 and playing their best baseball when it matters most.

Westmoore Jaguars

Overall Record: 19-14
District Record: 11-3

PLAYERS TO WATCH:
CF Josiah Kemp (2026; Oklahoma)
SS Jacob Wehba (2025; Vernon College)
RHP/OF Brodie Inhofe (2026)
RHP/3B Caleb Rey (2025)
Sam Bourland (2025; Mid-America Chrstian)

Coach Hunnicut and the Jaguars have been on the wrong side of penty of tight games throughout the year, but have played really solid baseball overall heading into the postseason. As seen with their state title run a year ago, this is the time of year that the Jaguars play their best baseball. Offensively, they are led by Oklahoma commit Josiah Kemp at the top of the order and playing CF. He has shown to be a game changer in all phases of a game impacting it with the bat, on the bases, and taking hits away in CF. Senior shortstop Jacob Wehba can also put a ton of pressure on opposing defenses, ambushing pitches over the white as well as use his legs on the basepaths. Senior Sam Bourland has emerged to drive in runs in the middle of the Jaguar lineup as well. On the mound, Brodie Inhofe has shown the ability to beat anyone with advanced feel for his secondary offerings and able to keep teams off balance consistently. Senior Caleb Rey offers massive competitivness as he is slotted into that Tuesday role and can beat anyone. The Jaguars will not beat themselves, a winning trait, and is a team that nobody will want to see this time of year with a roster full of guys that can get hot and go on another deep postseason run.

Putnam City West Patriots

Overall Record: 6-20
District Record: 2-12

PLAYERS TO WATCH:
OF Cadence Smith (2028)
2B Alex Jimenez (2027)
INF Nathan Vann (2025)
3B Aaron De Loera (2027)

Coach Wright and the Patriots look to get hot as postseason play gets underway with a mix of both experience and youth in their lineup. Centerfielder Cadence Smith is just a freshman but has produced in a big way in their wins working out of the leadoff spot. The exciting freshman will be a big part of any upset that PC West is able to pull off. After smith, sophomores Alex Jimenez and Aaron De Loera will also need to produce by finding their ways on base and driving in runs. Senior Nathan Vann has been planted in the middle of the Patriot lineup and will be called on to put pressure on opposing pitchers. Replacing the talent that the Patriots lost a year ago is tough but they will look for their youth to take another step forward after almost a full season of play in order to stir up some magic this postseason.
