Uncommitted spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. This week, we spotlight '26 INF Brad Love. The junior out of South Medford High School was most recently seen at PNW Preseason All-State this winter.
A 6'3 athlete, Love showcased some impressive tools, including 85 MPH throws across the diamond and exit velocities up to 95.9 MPH. Below is a complete breakdown of the player, including scouting reports and video from the event.

Hit: RHH. Upright stance with slightly closed base. Loose hands with barrel tight to frame. Hands retract away from frame in sync with low, hovering leg lift load. Rotates quickly through the zone with a firm front side at contact. Flatter barrel path. Strong two-handed finish. 84 mph peak bat speed with 24 G's of rotational acceleration.
