The Prep Baseball Idaho High School Pitcher of the Week highlights the best performance for an Idaho High School player from the previous week.  Each week, High School coaches across the State are asked to fill out our questionnaire for Pitcher and Player of the Week, along with our scouting staff attending games and scouring box scores throughout the week.  Every Saturday a link will be pushed out on social accounts to the Player/Pitcher of the Week questionnaire with a deadline of Saturday night at 11:59PM, followed by the announcement on Sunday.

This weeks 'Pitcher of the Week' honor goes to '25 LHP Ian Lenius Middleton (Utah Commit) with his 17 strikeout appearance against Eagle. His composure and dominance of the zone earned him and the Vikings another win on the season.

'25 LHP Ian Lenius Middleton (Utah Commit) had another strong outing earning himself Pitcher of the Week. Lenius commanded the zone with his fastball and kept hitters off balance with his offspeed. He managed to strikeout 17 Mustang hitters, walk one, and allow only 2 hits. His offense helped propel them to a victory in this match up that some would say is a rivalry game. Lenius has had a strong senior campaign where he has amassed 56 strikeouts in 33.1 innings pitched. Middleton takes on Centennial in Regional play in the hopes that they will secure a home Super Regional in 6a play.
